Who is Steve Moody?

Steve MoodySteve Moody has been entertaining in Maryland since 1989. His talents have been heard on Baltimore’s Country Station 93.1 WPOC and Easton’s 96.7 WCEI. Though WPOC listeners heard Steve many times during the week, he was most recognized for “Sunday Night Confessions with Steve Moody”, a laugh-fest where listeners called to confess naughty things they had done that week. WCEI listeners heard Steve in much larger doses every weekday morning. A couple of Steve’s more memorable radio interviews were with country music star Wynonna Judd and Pro Wrestling’s 15-Time World Champion Ric Flair, both pictured.

Besides these higher profile positions, Steve has also performed with the golden oldies band "45 RPM", singing lead vocals and playing guitar. Fans of local theatre my recognize him from performances in area dinner, college, community, and summer-stock theatrical productions.

DJ of the Year Finalist 2007Above all of his accomplishments, Steve is most proud of his successful disc jockey service, established in 1989. Through a lot of hard work, Steve’s one-man show has built a solid reputation for service and professionalism with both clientele and industry peers.

Though natural talent and a desire to entertain play large parts in his success, Steve credits his education in the performing arts with giving him that little extra “something”. After a college career that included courses in music, public speaking and relations, and theatre, as well as activities with the music and theatre departments, Steve graduated in 1996 from Towson State University with a bachelors degree in mass communications.

Steve’s disc jockey service keeps him busy, as he teaches line dancing three evenings each week, and provides music and entertainment for private events each weekend.
